From October 11-13, 2024, the “Trang & Tranh” exhibition will be held at the Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel (2 Lam Son Square, Ben Nghe, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The exhibition is open to the public from 9 AM to 9 PM on October 12 and 13. This event will showcase the works of Le Trang, the sole Vietnamese artist featured in three international exhibitions in the UK (September) and Italy (October). In addition to showcasing her artworks, this exhibition will offer an impressive immersive art experience.
The exhibition will present 20 paintings from four collections: MOTHERHOOD, HOME, STILL LIFE, and HUE HERITAGE, all created by Le Trang over the past three years (2022-2024).
Among these, two paintings Dreamy Lady (2023) and The Garden of Love (2024) were invited to the ART COLLECTIVE: From the One to the Many exhibition (September 17-19) at Saatchi Gallery Art Museum as part of the 22nd London Design Festival organized by the London Art Collective. The painting Home on the Pond (2023) was unveiled at the Let Us Hear HER VOICE exhibition (October 5-9) in Florence, Italy, organized by Isolart Gallery. Home on the Pond will also be featured in another event, the INSIDE exhibition (October 12-18) to mark the 20th Italian Contemporary Art Day, organized by the Association of Italian Contemporary Art. Le Trang is the only Vietnamese artist to participate in all three exhibitions.
Le Trang holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from RMIT International University. With her educational background and management experience, she holds several important positions in various large international corporations and is a business owner herself. Three years ago, influenced by the renowned painter Claude Monet, a founder of French Impressionism, Le Trang embarked on a new journey with painting.
Described as “a happy strong expressionist but more a deep poet, talking with a popular language, controlling the reality in clear words” (as noted by world-renowned architect Salvador P. Arroyo, Honorary Professor, Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, London), her paintings, which “have a sophisticated flavor of nostalgic Asian times”, quickly attracted the attention of both domestic and international art lovers. Her works are celebrated not only for their unique technique and creativity but also for their deeply feminine stories and perspectives.
Le Trang’s motto is: “Passion is unlimited. The limit is yourself!”
