That is the headline used by Hà Nội Mới in its coverage of artist Le Trang’s second solo exhibition. The newspaper writes:
“The exhibition ‘Daydream Among Blossoms’ by artist Le Trang opened on 14 January at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum (66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi), unveiling an artistic space imbued with poetry, softness and refinement.”
It marks a meaningful homecoming for the artist after a series of international exhibitions, and stands as an important milestone in the creative journey of a young painter who seeks to “step into the world through Vietnamese heritage”.
Also speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Mai Thi Ngoc Oanh, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, remarked that “Daydream Among Blossoms” makes an immediate impression through its display space, suffused with the violet hue of the flower that evokes Hanoi in the days leading up to Tet — a colour that appears throughout many of Le Trang’s works. Born in Hue, Le Trang brings to her paintings a gentle, affectionate quality, reflecting images of women and family — enduring and cherished values.
