TRANG & TRANH (Le Trang Paintings) is the first bilingual book by artist Le Trang, written and published almost simultaneously with her artistic journey from 2022 to 2024.
In an interview with Doanh Nhan Sai Gon Online News on November 5, 2024, artist Le Trang shared that this book linguistic expression of the emotional flow of her paintings. This book not only includes writings about 21 paintings from her four art collections over the past three years but also an anthology of stories and emotions behind each painting, providing deep insights into Le Trang’s artistic journey and life perceptions.
In the book, Le Trang combines painting and literature to tell her personal stories, life experiences, and perspectives on beauty. The book includes impressive paintings in terms of color and style, with major inspirations came from nature and people.
Besides the visual part, the book features Le Trang’s reflections on art and life, along with commentary from esteemed art critics both domestically and internationally, to help readers better understand the meaning behind each piece.
TRANG & TRANH (Le Trang Paintings) is not just an art book but also a work that allows readers to appreciate the depth of the artist’s soul and talent.
Published by Vietnam Women’s Publishing House in collaboration with Cau Vong Books, the bilingual book by artist Le Trang was officially released to readers both domestically and internationally in early November 2024. The Vietnam Women’s Publishing House is responsible for distributing the book nationwide.
